Most contractors, when building a structure, will request a pre-treatment as a preventative measure against termites. So, before you build, consider having this done. It can be a cost-effective way to safeguard your new construction project.

Most commonly, a pre-treatment is applied during the early stages of construction. Once a footer is in place and foundation is constructed, it is time for us to apply a termite elimination chemical. We treat the perimeter of the foundation, pier supports, plumbing and electrical areas, all gravel filled locations and soil areas pertaining to the structure. This should be completed before any framing begins.

After the pre-treatment is complete, your structure should be protected from termites for 5-7 years.
